The SORD Light Field Anorak (LFA) is a light weight mid / outer layer garment featuring light weight and waterproof fabric that is highly breathable and easily compressible. This garment has been designed to be worn over a field shirt or similar in inclement weather utilising technical fabrics and tested design principles. The base fabric, "DELTA" from Duro Textiles in the USA is a NIR (Near Infra Red) treated, two-way stretch that has been coated with Nanosphere technology by Schoeller that allows the garment to highly efficiently shed water and repel dirt whilst retaining some warmth and provide a high level of breathability aiding in wearer comfort. Tried and tested anorak design with it's internalised chest pocket is especially good for maps, range cards / comms cards / 9 liner etc, headwear, admin related items whilst the frontal waist lower hand pouch is perfect for managing gloves, mags and other similar items on the move or simply for keeping your hands warm. The LFA's rear fabric panel has been extended to provide additional coverage in order to prevent unwanted exposure to the elements whilst arched or bending forwards. Twin internal elastic shock-cord draw strings allow both the waist and lower hem to be user tightened aiding in the trapment of warm air within the garment
